Decades after the infamous events at The Overlook Hotel, a now-adult Danny Torrance (Ewan McGregor) is battling a drinking problem and the emergence of strange, psychic powers. Things come to a head when he meets a young girl named Abra with similar abilities who is being hunted by a mysterious group that grows stronger by killing others with magical powers.
